Downloading your brain

People are hard at work on a device that will allow you to download a human brain onto a computer. Mind you this is 50 years away, but think about it. Why the hell are these Christians up in arms about cloning. They think this will lead to unnatural results and it is against God's will to do such a thing. WTF? I have been searching the Old-New Testement and even the Koran trying to find out where God said that we should not clone people. In fact I am looking for anything that says that we should not mimic God with scientist. Isn't the end game to be as god like as possible. Of course this is wrong, we treat others as if they were god and love no one more than god, hence we love everyone else as if they were God. But still. God never said that we shouldn't try to be like him. No where does it say that gentic engineering or cloning is evil. Look a clone is an identical twin. They are not evil. So get over it. Be concerned about downloading your brain onto a computer. Does that person then become you? Are you just your memories or is it your soul that gives you conciousness? This will deterimine the origin of thought. This will prove that we are more than the sum of our parts. This may prove there is or isn't a god. SHouldn't these christians worry about that. Because if it proves that there is no God or we can achive imortality without god, then they are out of a fucking job. And lets face it, that is what they are most concerned about.
